Nothing good comes easy.

From my last post,  I was trying so hard to make this blog very active by talking about the creativity on our inside as Nigerians and indeed as humans. (though, there was an error in the title, that reads "Nigerians are reative" instead of "creative"). My sincere apologies.
The main aim of posting that in the first place was to help encourage someone out there who feels discouraged about achieving success(any success at all no matter how little it is). The most important thing is to start from somewhere, again I say, no matter how little, with time it all amounts to something tangible at the end of the day. This reminds me of a saying that I heard sometime ago about "little drops of water making a mighty ocean" (pause for a second and think about that statement)
I must admit, at first it didn't make much sense to me, because I just couldn't wrap my mind around it. I was thinking about the possibility, taking into consideration the size of a "mighty ocean" compared to that of "little drops" but as I gave it a second thought, I realised, it's not about the little drops, nor even about the mighty ocean, but the truth about the 'time' it takes for this 'miracle' to happen. That! in essence is the main point of the whole saying. In other words, the amount of time you spend on a particular thing, either improving yourself or your skills, the better you will be at it and the bigger it becomes.
So I am telling you, yes you, that you can achieve anything you set your mind to. So spend quality time to reading books, making research, make google.com your best friend, expand your knowledge, sit down and think about what your interests are, find new ones, and if you have one, improve on it. Don't just use the internet for Social networking(which is synonymous with the youth) there's more to the use of internet than 'tweeting' and 'facebooking'. No one starts big, great men of yesteryears developed themselves from something they either observed in the case of Sir Isaac Newton who happened to see the fall of an apple from a tree, and later proposed a theory to the force of gravity, or people who had a passion for the things they enjoyed doing and later made a career out of it.
There's a song that sums up all that I've been trying to say, I'd just pick a line out of the song " I know I can, be what I wanna be, if I work hard at it, I'll be where I wanna be" I say to you that whatever you put your mind to doing, you can be successful at it.
Some might say, " but I have faith, I'll pray about it" true, faith and prayer is good but that "faith" must be backed up with hard work, for without work, faith is dead. Even God worked for six days before He rested on the seventh. Most of us today want quick wealth, no one wants to work hard at all, we think life is all about wearing nice clothes, clubbing and partying all night, indeed many are guilty of this, and its not wrong to have fun, its not wrong to party,(the right kinda party) but it is totally wrong if that is all you are concerned about.
So dear friend(s) if you want to be successful in life, you have to prepare your mind to work for it, and of course there are other factors that would be 'required' to achieve success, but that is a story for another day.
